I love early elementary because it is a time for so many “firsts” for my students. Together we navigate the school experience: routines and expectations, academic experiences, peer relationships and self-regulation. I believe that my students are very capable and learn best when they have high expectations set for them along with consistent support and encouragement.
In my classroom, students work in various partnerships and groupings throughout the day with many opportunities to share their ideas and justify and revise their thinking.
I love being a part of the school community and look forward to partnering with you to give your student a great start to his or her academic career. I truly enjoy watching my students blossom as they build their confidence and develop new skills.
