An option this year for those not ready to return back to in person learning due to health related reasons.
Is it like Distance Learning last year?
No, it is not. We will use a program called Edgenuity which will require daily work completion in six different areas; there is a need to have an adult at home that can support throughout the day. There are opportunities for live interactions and support with an instructor but they may be brief and this is not someone from our school or district.
Unlike distance learning where attendance credit was given for being present, here, it is work completion over a two week period. Daily or weekly sessions focused on peer engagement and interactions will take place at 11:30 a.m.; frequency is daily for grades K-3 and Mondays for grades 4-12.
