Our School Rules
The Anna Yates school family will work from day one to establish a positive school climate by consistently practicing following the 3 BE’s: Be Respectful; Be Responsible; Be Safe. Our objective is to have a school community in which every person feels respected and valued and able to take risks to enrich our teaching and learning. All of our students will be encouraged and challenged to achieve at the highest levels.
Usekind words with your peers and staff. NO DESTRUCTIVE LANGUAGE.
Treat Anna Yates scholars and staff the way you want to be treated.
Consider the impact of your actions on others and the school environment.
Be solution oriented when faced with an obstacle.
Be on time to class and be prepared to learn.
Have a pass in the hall at all times.
Follow simple directions and request.
Follow emergency procedures (fire, earthquake, and lockdown).
Walk calmly and in the right direction through the halls.
Keep classrooms and hallways free of debris.
Encourage your fellow scholars by being polite and positive.
