When I reflect on our students, I hold certain research-based frameworks in mind. For example, I ask myself what the child needs when there are challenges. I think about sensory needs along with academic and emotional needs. I center a parent's perspective in my thinking so we can work as a team. My goal for all students is to develop a passion for learning and discovery. This year, I look forward to carrying forward our district's mission so we can take our school to the next level of safety, achievement and development.
