Some students receive supports from a Learning Specialist or our ELD Coordinator, see how they will continue to support your child
Ms Ms. Ljubica: Dear Parents, In an effort to slow down the spread of COVID-19, the Emery District has currently set up remote learning for students. This will be made up of both workbook based activities and online learning. The workbooks will be available at the high school side of our campus. Students will also have access to MobyMax, Raz-Kids, Flocabulary, Cosmic Kids Yoga, and other YouTube Educational videos for supplemental supports. Any meetings, including IEPs, will be scheduled when Emery District is able to reopen their doors. Any further updates will be shared as all of us do what we can to support your student during this unforeseen worldwide crisis. I will be available for office hours Monday- Friday from 9:00a-11:00a via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ms. Epstein: Leslie: Dear Families, I hope you are all staying healthy and safe. Some of you will be receiving large work packets in the mail within the next day or so. I have texted you if this is the case. For those of you who did not receive a packet in the mail, your child will be able to work on the general class assignments. I am available to assist with those assignments via email@example.com or text from 10-12 Monday through Friday. All of you have my phone number to text as well. I will also be available to support your child with their general education curriculum if needed .Please don’t hesitate to reach out if your child needs assistance with any of the curriculum.
Ms. Rhodes: I will be supplementing your child’s classroom assignments. If your child is able to complete the work assigned by their general education teacher, then that is all they are required to do. If the classroom assignments prove to be too challenging for your child to perform outside of school, then I am providing alternative curriculum in math and reading at your child’s independent level. If your child chooses to perform these assignments, they should work on them 30 minutes daily for TK and 45 minutes daily for all other grades. Packets will be available for you to pick up in the office on Tuesday. I will reach out to you via email on Monday 3/16 in the afternoon with additional digital resources that your child can access. If your child chooses to work digitally, the same time requirements apply. I will be available via email firstname.lastname@example.org Monday-Friday from 9:00am-11:00am to offer support. If your phone has Facetime or or some of the other applications that offer face to face communication, we can arrange that via email if you like. I will also be available to support your child with their general education curriculum if needed. I look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the curriculum.
