I have high expectations for all scholars in both critical thinking and behavior. I support my students in the process, considering the whole child while keeping in mind his or her various needs, and expect he/she will work hard, follow the classroom agreements, and ask questions. Parents are students' first teachers, so I ask parents their opinions, and hope for a strong sense of teamwork with families.

My goal for your AY scholar is that he/she will know how to set goals, and reach those goals; to show growth mindset and perseverance along the way. I will do this by building a safe space and coaching your scholar in critical thinking and self -advocacy.

I look forward to building a relationship with you and your child..sharing stories, and laughs, reaching goals and celebrating, supporting each other, taking on challenges together, and fostering a sense of academic curiosity.
