Pierre Clark
6th Grade Math & Science

  • From Oakland, CA
  • 6 years teaching experience
  • BA at Morehouse College; Teaching credential at San Francisco State;
    MA at University of the Pacific
My goals for my students is that they meet and exceed 6th grade academic expectations as well as be the best children they can
be. I will work to build a class community in which I have strong relational trust with my students. This will allow me to engage with them in a way that allows me to be most effective as I deliver instruction. This will also allow me to take advantage of
teachable moments that pertain to building their social-emotional development. I am a firm believer that as an educator it is
of the utmost importance that I set high expectations, challenge my students, and work to support the whole child. I look
forward to growing together, learning from mistakes together, building a learning community together, and developing some

lifelong relationships.
