I expect students to keep working towards learning and growing both academically and socially. I want to see them try for progress not perfection. I expect kindness and respect towards their peers. I want them to believe in themselves, not compare themselves to others, and to maintain a growth mindset.
My goal is to create a safe learning environment where children know it's ok to make mistakes and look at them as growth and learning opportunities. I will encourage them to keep trying even when something feels hard. I will guide them in being kind and compassionate people towards their classmates and the school community as a whole.
After 15 years in San Francisco Unified School District, I am really excited to get to know new families. I am looking forward to working with parents as a team to help their children be the best version of themselves they can be.
